Money-Saving Comes in Waves

With the current state of affairs where gas prices are concerned, I have letting cost-saving ideas roll over me like waves, trying to find the best ones to ride out. I have scoured several of my favorite money-saving sites for tips or glimmers of some area I had not thought of.

One thing we have done is install solar screens on our windows, hopefully decreasing our cooling and heating bills. I'll let you know how it helps.:)

I have also joined a coupon swap group in an effort to maximize my savings at the store and receive by email notices of discount codes and sales. This site should come in really handy for things like my new computer that we will be buying soon since my current one is on it's last leg. Of course, I am already thinking about the fact that I have not one but two little girls to have ready for school in the Fall and discounts on any and all adorable Back-to-School attire will come in more than handy!

Besides Father's Day we will be celebrating Brett's birthday this Summer so I am busily browsing all sorts of sites for his gifts.
